The cottage

A traditional timber-framed hideaway way up a simple track, built entirely out of locally sourced stone, oak and handcrafted leaded light windows by a master craftsman. Inside there are fine details, charm and character. Settle on the weighty leather sofa next to the wood-burner, stacked high with logs from the nearby woods. The kitchen is well equipped and open plan, gathered around the Aga, and the floor is natural stone with underfloor heating. As you climb the oak staircase you meet an open plan bedroom and a dressing room, overlooking the sitting room below from the galleried landing.
